1. Understanding the nature of bulk hetero-junction thin film blends composed of molecular donors and acceptors, with the aim of obtaining high performance organic photovoltaic cells

2. Studying the assembly of mixed surfactant monolayers at both air-water and air-solid interfaces that have applications as exogenous pulmonary lung surfactant preparation

3. Development of sustained release formulations, both solid and liquid dosage forms
