December 2009, obtained the "Excellence Award for Distinguished Staff Member" from The Scientific Society of Arab Nursing Faculties- Association of Arab Universities. The announcement took place in Cairo-Egypt and the official ceremony held in Sultanate Oman on December 14th 2010.

Princess Muna Al-Hussein Global Research Award 2006." This award was coordinated by the Jordanian Nurses and Midwives Council for my research paper "Mrayyan, M.T. (2006). Jordanian nurses' job satisfaction, patients' satisfaction, and quality of nursing care. International Nursing Review, 53(3), 224-230." My research was selected as the Best Research among 24 research studies that were evaluated by an expert panel of 4 consultants from the US and Jordan.

2010, as I am distinguished in my research and my academic career and administrative work, I was promoted on early basis to Full Professor of Nursing, which applied as well to my early promotion to Associate Professor in 2006.
2008, based on Scopus Database, I was ranked the first out of 433 faculty members at the Hashemite University in number of published articles 2004-200.·
2007, I was honored by the President of the Hashemite University for being one of faculty members who has the Highest Number of Publications listed in International Databases 2000-2007.
2007, I was awarded by the University of Jordan as "One of the Best 31 Academic Female Leaders in Jordan, and the One the Best Two Academic Female Leaders at the Hashemite University." There were 400 nominated academic female leaders, of which 31 academic female leaders were selected.
2006, I was honored by the President of the Hashemite University as One of the Best Faculty Members who obtained external research fund.
2007, I created a prize called "Dr. Majd Mrayyan's Prize for Nursing Students." This prize aimed at recognizing high achievers, and active students in extracurricular activities, and the needy students.

2017, during my Deanship of Scientific Research, I transformed the Deanship into a Fully-Electronic Platform.
November 2016, the First Female Dean of the Deanship of Scientific Research; the previous 9 Deans were males.
2011, participated in establishing Quality Management Standards for the Academic Nursing Programs in Jordan. This project was directed by the Higher Education Accreditation Commission.
April 2011, prepared a proposal for the Health Care Accreditation Council (HCAC) about how to measure some health care indicators.
Sept 13th, 2010- Sept 13th, 2011, spent a Sabbatical Leave in the Faculty of Nursing-Jordan University of Science and Technology.
During the period of my Deanship 2006-2010, On May 2009 my journey of three years was flourished by the establishment of a Master's Program in Nursing. The student will be graduated as a Clinical Nurse Specialist in Oncology Nursing or Psychiatric and Mental Health Nursing.
March 2007, I was honored by the President of the Hashemite University for my efforts that resulted in obtaining the First Rank among all Jordanian Governmental and Private Faculties of Nursing in the Quality Assurance Project. This project was initiated and directed by Al-Hussein Center for Excellence and Creativity in collaboration with American auditors from the University of Cincinnati and The University of Toledo. The Faculty of Nursing took the "Award of Best Nursing Program at Jordan."
August 2007, the Faculty of Nursing at the Hashemite University obtained "The First Rank" in the National Quality Assurance Evaluation Project 2006-2007 coordinated by The Jordanian Higher Education Accreditation Commission.
May 2007, the Faculty of Nursing at the Hashemite University obtained the First Rank among all Governmental and Private Nursing Faculties in Jordan in the National Competency Exam in the Academic Year 2006-2007. With the help of other colleagues , Professor Dr. Majd Mrayyan was responsible about all the initiatives that took place to prepare the students for this exam.
During the period of my Vice- Deanship, The Faculty of Nursing was ranked "The Second" among all Governmental and Private Nursing Faculties in Jordan in the National Competency Exam in the Academic Year 2005-2006. Professor Dr. Majd Mrayyan was responsible about all the initiatives that took place to prepare the students for this exam.
A member in the following Regional and International Committees: 2008-2011, a member of the Executive Committee of the Scientific Society of Arab Nursing Faculties- Association of Arab Universities. Starting 2010, a member in the Editorial Board of the Journal of the Scientific Society of Arab Nursing Faculties- Association of Arab Universities. May 5th 2008, joint the Honor Society of Nursing, Sigma Theta Tau International-USA. I met their criteria of: be legally recognized to practice nursing in his/her country; have a minimum of a baccalaureate degree or the equivalent in any field; and demonstrated achievement in nursing. Membership number is 0557438. Starting March, 2005, a member of the editorial board of the "Journal of Nursing Management- USA.Best Rated Papers.

Quality Initiatives during my Academic Career
June 2017, a member of a committee for "Quality Assurance" for Zaytoonah Private University-Faculty of Nursing. This project was directed by the Higher Education Accreditation Commission.
2017, as the Dean of Scientific Research, I attended the workshop at the Ministry of Higher Education and Scientific Research on the period 25-26 / 4/2016 entitled as "Bologna Process and ECTS Credit System" supported by Erasmus Plus / EU program. January 2016, a member of a committee responsible about enhancing the quality of academic teaching at the Hashemite University.
January 2016, a member of the "Customers' Satisfaction about Quality of Nursing Services in Jordan", a committee established by the Jordanian Nursing Council. April 2011, prepared a proposal for the Health Care Accreditation Council (HCAC) about how to measure some health care indicators.
2011 , participated in establishing Quality Management Standards for the Academic Nursing Programs in Jordan. This project was directed by the Higher Education Accreditation Commission.
2005-2010, established Quality Control System for the School of Nursing-The Hashemite University. This system put the school in the fiats rank among all Jordanian Schools of Nursing at the University Level in Jordan.
December 2008, attended a workshop entitled "Applying Credit Hours System and it Influence of the Quality of Teaching: The Experience of the Faculty of Nursing at Cairo University."
During my Deanship, August 2007, I was honored by the President of the Hashemite University for the high achievements of the Faculty in the Quality Assurance Project and Competency Exam 2006-2007; we at the Faculty of Nursing obtained the first rank among all Jordanian Faculties of Nursing in both projects.
