Research interests are Traffic safety studies; Pavement materials, design,  maintenance, and performance; Imaging techniques in evaluating aggregate shape; Pavement sustainability;  Recycled materials in pavements; laboratory and field destructive and non-destructive testing of pavement and construction materials. Roadway condition evaluation and management.
