Dr Gharaibeh specialises in Hip and Knee replacement and knee sports medicine surgery. He has a research and practical interest in evolving techniques in knee arthroplasty surgery and has extensive experience in the field of cartilage restoration surgery, osteotomy and ligament reconstruction.
Dr Gharaibeh is an Assistant Professor in orthopaedics at the department of special surgery, and currently holds the position of Dean's Assistant for Clinical Training Affairs.
Dr. Gharaibeh graduated in Medicine and Surgery from the Jordan University and Science and Technology with honours. He was awarded the higher specialization degree in orthopaedics in 2012 from the Jordan University of Science and Technology with honours.
Dr. Gharaibeh was the Lower Limb Reconstruction Fellow at the Sydney Knee Specialists (AOA accredited fellowship), Sydney, Australia, and the Hip and Knee fellow at the Harbour City Orthopaedics (AOA accredited fellowship), During this time, Dr. Gharaibeh worked with leading authorities in the field of knee, hip, and sport surgery. He has multiple publications in the field of knee surgery and is on the reviewer for several international orthopaedic journals. He is an examiner for the Orthopaedics Jordanian Board comittee and the Arab Board of Health Specializations.
