External Activities: 1. I have participated in many activities outside the campus such as volunteering in a cleaning campaign in Zarqa, and collecting the olive crops in the governorate some years ago in an initiative made by the Hashemite University. 2. With the Department, and in cooperation of the Hashemite University, I gave some conversation sessions in the Jordan Badia for the local community. Supervision of Theses: I am currently supervising the following theses: 1. Translating Arabic Colloquialisms in Arabic-into English Subtitled Series: Al-Jar Qabl Ad-dar as a Case Study by Nourah Sulaiman. 2. Social and Cultural Restrictions in Translating Taboos by Nasma Derbas. The History of Job: 1. 2005-2013 Teaching staff in the Department of English, Hashemite University, Jordan. 2. 2013-17 Teaching staff in the College of Languages and Translation, Imam Mohammed Ibn Saud Islamic University, Saudi Arabia. 3. 2017-now Teaching staff in the Department of English, Hashemite University, Jordan. The Courses I teach: Translation One, Translation Two, Writing One, Essay Writing, Reading, Listening Comprehension and Conversation, Oral Skills, Grammar One. Teaching Experience: 1. 1991-99 Teacher of English Language, the Ministry of Education, Jordan. 2. 99-2002 Full-Time lecturer, Jordan University of Science and Technology. 3. 2002-2005 Part-Time Lecturer, Durham University, and Sunderland University, UK. 4. 2005-2013 Teaching staff in the Department of English, Hashemite University, Jordan. 5. 2013-17 Teaching staff in the College of Languages and Translation, Imam Mohammed Ibn Saud Islamic University, Saudi Arabia. 6. 2017-now Teaching staff in the Department of English, Hashemite University, Jordan. Membership in any Scientific Institution: Member in the editorial board of International Journal of Applied Linguistics and Translation.
