My current research interest focuses on developing a national reminiscence program in Jordan by raising awareness among Jordanian people, health care providers, and health policymakers regarding the importance of reminiscence in promoting mental health. This goal will be accomplished by conducting a series of studies that describe the association between reminiscence functions and other health-related outcomes, as well as studies that describe the differences in reminiscence patterns and functions based on demographic variables. The next step will include the development of effective nursing interventions in the context of reminiscence and mild dementia, with a focus on the impact of reminiscence in determining health-related outcomes such as reducing depressive symptoms, improving cognition, and enhancing the well-being of individuals with mild dementia. - Meaning-centered group psychotherapy for patients with cancer - Workplace violence against psychiatric nurses - Psychotherapeutic interventions among Muslims undergoing treatment for cancer
