My scholarly activity focuses mathematical and numerical analysis. More specifically, my work in the field of applied mathematics is situated into three subcategories: (1) mathematical analysis of inverse problems, (2) numerical techniques for nonlinear problems, and (3) soliton theory, especially for complete systems. The research on which I am currently working is twofold. One looks at the high-precision numerical schemes that can be used in solving nonlinear problems related to real world applications. Another is a collaborative study of new numerical techniques for solving integral equations.

I am currently an Associate Professor in the Department of Mathematics. I have been working in the Hashemite University HU for the last ten years and before that I was working in HU as a lecturer since 2001. I have spent my four years' leave at Dhofar University in Oman 2014-2018. My primary teaching responsibilities are in the Math program where I teach courses focused on mathematical and numerical analysis. I have taught ten different courses while at HU. As part of my teaching responsibilities, I have supervised final year projects for a number of students, all of which were about advanced topics in mathematics. A review of my student and peer evaluations will demonstrate a consistently high rating of effectiveness as well as a commitment to improvement and professional growth.
