Teaching gives us the privilege to contribute in forming young generation minds by passing onto them our knowledge and enthusiasm for a field. I feel fortune that I have had the opportunity to teach over eight years. I have dedicated much of my time to teaching and developing courses and educational materials. As a result, I have acquired extensive teaching experience at the undergraduate and graduate level as an instructor and teaching assistant. Courses taught 1-Material Science. 2-Properties and Failure of Materials. 3-Properties and Failure of Materials Laboratory. 4-Mechanical Shaping of Metals and Plastics. 5-Casting, Welding, Heat Treating and NDT. 6-Applied Mathematics for Engineering 7-Thermodynamics 8-Design of Experiment and Data Analysis 9-Dynamics 10-Thermodynamics, Properties and Failure of Materials Lab. 11- Vibration 12- Statistics and Probability for Engineers
Over the last eight years I have taught a number of courses, including material science, thermodynamics, properties and failure of materials and casting, dynamics, fluid mechanics and strength of material. My duties have included organized the course, write all the lectures, planning and teaching classes, running tutorial sessions and setting assignments and exams. I have conducted classes and tutorial sessions for groups ranging from thirty to hundred and fifty students, and have gained valuable experiences from working with both large and small groups. I believe it is imperative that I create a positive classroom learning environment for the students. I strive to be an approachable instructor and encourage students to ask and answer the question in the class. Given the amount of student asking the questions about the class material and participating in my class, I am confident that I have been successful in maintaining a comfortable atmosphere ideal for classroom learning.
