 1-	Nitrene, Carbene and Ylide Chemistry: Matrix Photochemistry, Flash Vacuum Thermolysis, and Spectroscopy: NMR, IR, UV, Mass spectrometries, XRD and DSC. 
2-	Computational Chemistry: modern ab initio and DFT calculations of molecular structure, spectra and energies as an adjunct to experimental studies of reactivity and mechanism.
