It is with great pleasure that I extend a warm welcome to you, my students and colleagues, as I embark on this exciting journey as a Faculty member of Software Engineering at Hashemite University.
My passion lies in fostering the next generation of software engineers who will shape the future of technology. I bring to this role more than twelve years of experience in the industry and academia, specializing in software process and product quality. My journey includes leading diverse teams, developing innovative software solutions, and collaborating internationally to strengthen academic and professional networks.
I am particularly interested in contributing to The Hashemite University's mission of providing professional teaching and research that contributes to enhanced learning environment for students. My commitment is to provide you, my students, with a rigorous and engaging learning environment that equips you with the knowledge, skills, and critical thinking necessary to excel in your chosen field. My teaching philosophy emphasizes active learning, practical application, and a collaborative approach. I believe in fostering a culture of curiosity, open communication, and continuous improvement within the classroom.
My experience in open-source software development and CMMI certification, coupled with my research interests in software process improvement, user experience, software analytics, and secure software development, will allow me to collaborate with faculty and staff to enhance the reputation of our Faculty of Prince Al-Hussein Bin Abdullah II for Information Technology.
